Remodeling & Construction Projects | Scrivens Construction

4th st

This whole-home renovation reimagined the property from the inside out, updating the kitchen, bathrooms, living spaces, flooring, lighting, finishes, and architectural details to create one beautifully connected home.

Through our custom design process, we looked at how each space worked individually and how the rooms flowed together. The layout, materials, finishes, and details were carefully planned to improve functionality while creating a cohesive design that carries naturally throughout the home.

The finished renovation feels brighter, more open, and completely refreshed, with modern finishes and thoughtful custom details throughout. Rather than simply remodeling individual rooms, we created a home that feels intentionally designed from beginning to end.

New Home Build

There’s something different about starting with a blank canvas. This new home was built from the ground up, giving us the opportunity to create every space with purpose from the very beginning.

From the layout and construction to cabinetry, flooring, lighting, kitchens, bathrooms, and finishing selections, Scrivens Construction brought each element together to create a home that feels connected from the moment you walk through the door.

Our custom design process focuses not only on how a new home will look, but on how it will actually be lived in. Room flow, storage, functionality, materials, and the details that give a home its personality are considered throughout the process.

The result is more than a newly built house—it’s a custom home created from the ground up around the people who will call it home.

Built from the Ground Up | New Home Construction

This custom ADU in St. Petersburg transformed the property by creating an entirely new, independent living space designed to make every square foot count.

From the initial layout and custom design through construction and finishing selections, our team focused on creating a space that feels like a home of its own—not an afterthought. The finished ADU provides comfortable, functional living with the privacy and amenities of a separate residence, all within a thoughtfully designed footprint.

Whether created for extended family, guests, a private retreat, or greater flexibility for the future, an ADU can open up entirely new possibilities for how a property is used.

At Scrivens Construction, we bring the same level of design, craftsmanship, and attention to detail to our St. Petersburg ADU projects as we do to a full-size home—because smaller spaces should never feel like a compromise.

Designed for Everyday Luxury | Bathroom Renovations

After Hurricane Helene flooded this 1950s home, the property underwent a complete transformation. We reimagined the original layout to maximize usable space, improve functionality, and create a more open, modern feel throughout the home.

From rebuilding and updating the interior to thoughtfully redesigning the living spaces, every detail was considered to give this older home a fresh start while making better use of every square foot. The finished renovation blends modern comfort and functionality with the character of the original home.

Custom Built-Ins

The best built-ins don’t look added on—they look like they were always meant to be there.

This collection highlights custom built-ins designed and constructed by Scrivens Construction to make better use of the home while adding character and craftsmanship. From integrated shelving and storage to custom cabinetry and one-of-a-kind features, each piece begins with the space itself and how the homeowner wants to use it.

Our custom design process allows us to tailor the proportions, materials, finishes, and functionality to the individual home rather than relying on an off-the-shelf solution.

The result is beautifully integrated storage and display space with a truly custom look—designed for the home, built for the homeowner.

Custom Hood Vent

Sometimes one custom feature can define an entire space. For this project, we designed and built a statement range hood that became the centerpiece of the kitchen.

The hood was created specifically for the space, with its proportions, shape, trim, and surrounding finishes designed to complement the cabinetry and draw the eye naturally toward the cooking area. Positioned between the windows, the finished design creates a strong focal point while still feeling balanced with the rest of the kitchen.

This is the kind of detail we love incorporating into our projects at Scrivens Construction—custom-built elements that turn a beautiful renovation into something truly unique to the home.

Leonia

This kitchen remodel was designed to create a space that feels just as good to live in as it looks. The transformation brought together an updated layout, custom cabinetry, beautiful surfaces, lighting, and carefully selected finishes to give the kitchen a fresh new identity.

Through our custom design process, we focused on more than simply updating the finishes. We considered how the homeowners would move through the kitchen, where they would gather, how they would use the space every day, and how each element could work together to create a finished look that feels intentional.

The result is a kitchen that feels polished yet welcoming—a space made for cooking, conversation, entertaining, and the everyday moments that happen in between.

At Scrivens Construction, we create kitchens around the people who live in them, combining custom design and quality craftsmanship to make each project truly personal.
